Titane Movie Review Podcast Transcript
Anthony: So, I guess I wanted to start this conversation off with you, Helen. This is one of your picks that you’ve chosen for our slate, and it is a film that is very historic in Cineverm history. It is a very huge important film to the podcast because it is famously – like I mean this is written in textbooks and on and our Wikipedia page definitely – this is the only episode that we have officially lost due to my part of the recording being lost in the ether, somewhere in the digital space between man and computer.
And it was like a two hour full-blown – I remember it being my favorite conversation that we had, and it was lost and destroyed. It was it was haunting and traumatizing. It was like its own horror film of the challenges of us trying to figure out how to fix it. There has to be a way. And I guess just for any other podcaster out there who’s gone through that, it is heartbreaking and especially when it’s a movie like this, which for me was such an important movie, such a huge first watch for me.
So yeah, I just wanted to lay that out because some people might see there’s another Titane review this is going to be called the re-review that’s in our feed, and then that previous episode where we recorded two little separate parts of us talking about it non-spoiler and mashed that into a little 20 minute episode. So that’s what that is. This is our full new discussion so finally we can right the wrong that happened. But with all that being said, I wanted to start with you, Helen. What did you think about this movie – it is a very renowned and controversial movie. It won the Palm D’or. So yeah what were your initial impressions of this movie?
